Default Marana Police

So apparently the Town of Marana will be on the PCWIN system.. Anyone heard of this? I have. Anyway do we know if they will be encrypted? hmm..

Yes, they were accepted into PCWIN. Conversion date has not been set. Since the radios they have are already full time encryption, I'm speculating that they will take that part of the licensing for their radios with them to the new radios for PCWIN.

Time will tell...

Seems like the hardware of the two systems is different, and they partially acquired radios from the PCWIN system. So, have to wonder if they will inherit the "unencrypted status" of the larger network. Yes, time will tell...
