Super excited to start messing with that once it arrives.

You should get it on Monday then. Sounds like you fell into the same trap as me. I thought I was ordering from the Canadian outlet only to find it wasn't. In the meantime, I ordered two from China and they arrived before the NooElect ones did.
Good luck on the setup. Very addictive hobby.

Default Mid-Air Refueling over Nova Scotia

Darryl - if you don't want to pull CAT5 cable through the walls then you could use a wireless range extender (Wi-Fi repeater) to get the signal upstairs. Powerline Ethernet adapters are another option, but those should be avoided if you receive shortwave HF transmissions like HFDL and transoceanic ATC.

The NooElec dongle is very cool. I'm even getting hits from 10-15 nmi with the cheesy bundled antenna deep in my apartment, and it has no line-of-sight to the sky. Using ADSB# and the virtual radar server for software.

It should do much better with the antenna in a window but I'm still waiting on a 32 ft active USB extender cable that I ordered from monoprice.

Should be some TRENDs coming back from Moron. May drop into Bangor. Clear skies over there?

1812z 133.925 GOLD 81 working FAA FSS "Flightwatch" Hi-Alt. Faint and barely readable at times. Did hear ID of KC-10 and he gave out some weather observations from his plane.

Technically no, but its the first A/C I was able to MLAT while he was on my box/dongle. I've done it with flights south of you, just playing around, but that was other peoples receiver/box. It used mine, yours and Ix's I think.

Yea, I think he is the guy in Boutiliers Point, not too far from me. Maybe he just turned on Raw data too, since I wasn't able to use his before today.
