(usual whining, moderately offensive swearing). That's a disappointment.

Random AR refueling huh? So if I could somehow get my car into the block I could get gas, kinda like one of those sales a local station has for 15 cents a litre off every once in a while?

Edit: We post at the same time again Ed! That's _soooo_ cool! Love the real time map!!

Got them all here now guys. At 2202z they are still random refueling. ETHYL L2 just took over as the lead aircraft. I have not heard any comms on 341.75 but they are on the outskirts of my UHF range.

Here's my radio logs so far:
Freqs:
2149z 135.200 W1677 wkg Moncton Center
2150z 133.450 W1677 chk in w/ZBW
2151z 133.450 ETHYL L1 flight chk in w/ZBW random refueling block 24-26
2158z 133.450 ETHYL L2 chk in is now the lead aircraft.

Mode-S:
AE01E1 83-0077 ETHYLL2 KC-10A United States USAF | 60AMW [KSUU]
AE020B 79-1713 @B@@H@@ KC-10A United States USAF | 60AMW [KSUU]
ADFEB4 73-1677 W1677 E-4B United States USAF | 55WG | 1ACCS [KOFF]

Also - SAM 93 is showing on my box. He too is coming in from the North like AF1 did. No radio comms from him yet.
Mode-S:
ADFEB9 99-0003 S93 2011-05-28 21:54:29 C-32A United States USAF | 89AW | 1AS [KADW] Gray ME, US 0000 38000

That should do it for the AF1 flight. Other than the REACHes carrying the limos, SUVs, etc.

2234z Update:
I have two C-17s showing here now around the same time. I bet these are the POTUS support planes for the above mentioned equipment.
Mode-S:
AE2FA7 08-8195 RCH355 2011-05-28 22:25:40 C-17A United States USAF | 62AW [KTCM] Gray ME, US 3560 24000

It certainly was fun, I wish we could have been more help on AF1, I didnt hear him at all, on HF, or V/UHF, and I had them all on record. Anyways, still a good day all in all, thanks for the great recap and all the info, and posts Ed! And Mark too, will keep my ears peeled for those T-Birds tomorrow!

Here's the audio I got earlier, a little late I know, had to run out and help my friend with some beers he was having trouble with :

Until tomorrow gents!

Another support C-17 into Vegas last night 0200z.
T-BIRD 15 C-17 #00-0185 from 62AW.
They must be bringing spare engines and extra spare parts on trip as well.

Out? Grr! You're not in Clayton Pk like me are you, Ian? I don't even bother with the weather any more, I just check the NS Webcams site for the live view of the South Shore/Annapolis Valley and see what to expect.. They're looking good but it's about a 4000 ft ceiling here still.

And surely they have a 'Department of Cool Things' you can contact. Although they may have their focus on Indy today as a B-2 was used for the flypast to partially drown out Kelly Clarkson. They even used 'Spirit of Indiana' as the plane, kinda neat.

It was nice out here in HP/Tantallon when I posted earlier, but now its cloudy, still getting some sun here and there though, and I see blue sky in the distance to the south.

I forgot it's Memorial Day weekend down there, probally part of the reason its quiet, and coolness on the B2, they should have brought the B1s instead, full drowning of K.C.!

Happy Memorial day tomorrow* guys south, hope you got/get some sun for the long weekend, and get to enjoy it!

And they just had Super Hornets fly over after the finish.. Youre right - Bones are cooler. I ordered a combo B-1 last night at the chinese restaurant we all went to. Woulda got F-14 but it was soup.

So that explains why our favorite neighbors aren't on here today. Wonder where the T-Birds are...
