That is what puzzled me as well. I did not hear that part of the conversation on my end...and I thought I had it programmed as an active freq as well. I must have locked it out...been having a bad problem with 'birdies' locking up the scanners unnecessarily. I posted my (much edited) recording at my AudioBoo page as well.

And another thing...anybody else catch the chit-chat on 293.00 overnight. I think it was two tankers on their way to Germany...but not sure. I wondered if anyone noticed it on their fancy-dancy radar boxes? (Around 2:20am Atlantic Standard time)

I didn't ever get 58-0094, Gmail's search actually works for contents so luckily I get the reports sent to it and not just my Hotmail. Searched for that # and only found it in my reply notification email from your post above..

I think that was earlier in the day, or even the previous night, I just didnt bother to edit it out.

Not sure about this guy, I don't keep that freq tuned on my AR20 recording scanner..and I dont see anything in the log except for a REACH flight around the same time. Maybe thats who he was talking to.

Edit, I just sent you guys the logs for today, and you should get them daily now at 12 UTC, all flights I get will be listed.

German Air Force 226 on radio, only reason I know it's him is that the best airframes.org could do when I ran the letter code was that it was German Reg.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Ahhh well it was still cool to use a combination of phone and scanner and webcam to get a heads up, listen to, and then photo ID the airplane that otherwise woulda slipped by unnoticed.

Definitely man, gotta love when technology comes together

Just an FYI guys, I've been hearing lots of military aircraft on the civilian frequencies, plus I heard Moncton calling an aircraft on 121.5 Guard. Might be something interesting happening.. Ill post back if I hear more.

Edit : And now a KC-10 popped up on the box..

I just heard REACH641 talking to Moncton, setting up for a crossing, I'm thinking it was him. He shows up as TEAM on the box, but that isn't always right.

Everything I heard was on my RR feed scanner, so you can always listen there if you can/want too.

YW man, and in defense of my IT colleagues, its usually up to the company the service is being provided to, that is the deciding factor on what is allow, or not allowed. We just do what gets us paid

Sadly, most company's these days are cutting off all things but business related information.. Productivity and statistics is all they care about.
