Halifax DMR
After getting my bcd536 back from Uniden repair, I upgraded to DMR and started scanning.
What I found with the help of dsd is you can listen to the Bridge Police, all of 4D Networks frequencies which includes a towing company and 1 or 2 Brink's like companies on those talkgroups. You can also pickup the Halifax Airport and those are I believe are supervisors of ground crew.
It is cool to have dmr capabilities, but I have to say, what there is to listen to is not all that interesting.
Cheers,
Kevin

Is DMR different from P25? I run a WS1065 and can get all the TMR2 (MPSRN) except encrypted police services.
Sorry I'm a bit new to this.

DMR = digital mobile radio
Yes, different than p25
And I'm afraid to say, the ws1065 is not dmr capable

Is DMR more advanced than P25? Or is it just that Public Safety Systems on P25 have to be separated from DMR Commercial stuff?

I would have to say dmr is more advanced and I'm saying that because scanners are just becoming capable of decoding it.
Most dmr (in NS) is in the 400 mhz range, while p25 is in the 700 mhz

The only thing allowed on the P25 TMR System is public safety and emergency services (for the most part) so mostly all commercial traffic will be on other systems like DMR
