scanner cast help...

I am still having problems with my feed going offline. Everytime I start broadcasting my feed, a couple of hours pass and i get an email saying that my feed has gone offline, i get on and sure enough it is. However, when i go to restart my feed it shows that the feed is running, not stopped, and the status says OK. my computer never turns off or restarts, and auto update is disabled. What is causing this and what can i do to fix the problem? It is really getting annoying. Thanks for your help.

Make sure you aren't using AVG for antivirus. Also check power settings to make sure you aren't set to sleep or hibernate.

I had this problem and it was my wireless internet. I had to change freq. on the router and move it. Now everything works great.

ok...So i am using AVG antivirus, so that may be the problem. Is there something in AVG i need to disalbe or do i need to get rid of it all together. If so what antivirus do you use that works well with scannercast?

Get rid of AVG altogether, it's a poorly behaving program. Microsoft Security Essentials is free and gets good reviews, including from the author of ScannerCast himself.
