Hello Everyone,

Is there a way to have the alpha tags in RadioFeed pause for a few seconds after the transmission ends?

My tags disappear as soon as the transmitting ends but I still see it on the scanner.
Would be nice to keep it on player for a few seconds after.
I used Winamp, Real, online java and a few others with the same outcome.
The tags disappear too quick.

All of the delays on the scanner is set to 6 seconds.

I'm using RadioFeed 2.1 and PSR-600 scanner on WinXP Pro SP3.

Here is my feed, is it just me?

Mon Valley Area Police, Fire and EMS Live Scanner Audio Feed

Thanks in Advance
John

There is a way

I decided to look closer at RadioFeed. If you uncheck the box next to "Text to show during scanning" on the Metadata page, the alpha tag will remain on the display until the next transmission.

Thanks W8RMH,

It looks bad sitting there for a long time on one channel (had 3 emails telling me my scanner is stuck).

Maybe the next version will have a delay.

Thanks again

if you delay then they will become out of sync. Best to just have it stay on the same freq until the next transmission. I have been doing that for 5 years now and not one email about a stuck scanner.

I may do this with my feed. I noticed they are a little out of sync but I need the 5 second delay because the channels are so busy it is hard to follow the conversation otherwise. Thanks webstar22 for pointing that out.

Thanks Guys!

I have a little delay on audio because of the processing I use to clean it up a bit but it just around 700ms to 1 sec at most.

I remove the text to show scanning. Seems to be working ok.

Thanks for all of the help.

John
