System infrastructure question - can I use one antenna for multiple receivers?

I recently moved far away and my feed had to go down. I live in a remote location now and I would like to add some local feeds. The house I am at already has a nice antenna tower. If I purchase and install a discone style base antenna, can I attach that to multiple scanners? I'm considering hooking up several PRO-2022 units to this antenna via a splitter. Is there anything I should consider?

For receive only you can use a standard cable TV splitter. Sure there is a little impedance mismatch and of course 3db insertion loss but it may not be noticeable.

It was put into the "Passive Devices" forum which makes it a bit more difficult to locate (although the solution does fit this topic quite well).
