Anyone ever have a feed up and running using a USB to RS232 cable which ran fine for quite some time then have problems? I was awakened by a storm and I came to shut down my FEEDS when I noticed a message saying a USB device had exceeded its rating or some such notice and now my USB -RS232 doesn't work. You may note the USB port still works fine for other devices. I tried this cable on other computers and it won't work there either. I think maybe the storm ZAPPED my cable. ODD as nothing else seems damaged. The other FEED on the same computer is fine. Of course, it connects via the ONLY RS232 port.
