There seems to be some confusion on my part getting the settings correct to connect to the server with darkice. Since I have no option for auto setup the manual configuration is a bit unclear on one item, the feed name. I got everything else just fine, was very logical but the name as told in the comments on the sample conf file does not match up with anything I have been sent or can find on the accounts page. I have tried several different things and no connect. I hope someone has an answer for me.

Found the issue, thanks to anyone who was poised to answer. 
By the way i had put in the slash in the mount point, it made sense in unix speak but took it out and was good.
