I've been streaming very successfully with a Raspberry Pi running Icecast, however I would like to read the frequency being received for my Optoelectronics Xplorer (late 90's model which has a standard RS232 port and supports a basic CI-V command set), and display this as the 'current song'.
I thought I'd try my hand with at Python scripting to achieve this. Has anyone used either CI-V and/or Python to add the frequency to an Icecast stream?
