Default Question about background noise

For the past few days now, every time I listen to Broadcastify there is constant hum in the background. It is just loud enough to where some of the transmissions are not too clear. Just curious as to what might be causing this?

thank you,

Jim

Not on my feeds

Background hum is a common problem with many feeds due to the connection requirements of Broadcastify. My feeds drive inaudible audio to BCastify to keep the feeds alive during dead air times. A lot of feeds use a background audible noise to stay alive. It's a problem that should be addressed by Broadcastify as they are wasting bandwidth with this requirement.

Yeah that might be normal there is some interference on my feed but I believe that is because of the cheap USB soundcards I have.

For the person running the feed, if there is a constant hum behind all audio they need to add a ground loop isolator. It can bring down a lot of the hum and is pretty cheap. I have it on mine and it has no background hum after adding it.
