Arson suspect arrested early on like around noon.
Fire was originally reported at 11:40 am with a witness describing a suspect vehicle.
CHP made a felony stop at Newport in Hemet and detained suspect.
In a PREVIOUS FIRE where fire fighters were killed the arsonist was charged with murder
Some homes lost, more threatened.

Standard BDF initial air attack and A/G frequencies, listed in the database for San Bernardino NF. Also heard NIFC Tac 5 being assigned. If it goes on for more than a couple of days, the assigned channels will be released, and it'll go to something else. Lots of traffic on BDF Admin net, Air Guard, and flight following.

CDF command 1 ...heard nat, flight freq. today. I would monitor cdf 2 and 3 since there is a repeater there.

Listened to MVU dispatch yesterday morning and they were giving out channel assignments around 0630. Might be worth a listen today.

Yes lots of traffic on BDF and state fish and game. Mostly logistics...
Are they still using the BDF initial air attack and a/g frequencies? And there should be a Victor frequency for helitack.
