Question Handheld CB unit with SSB

Can anyone advise/recommend where I might purchase a handheld CB unit with single side-band?

Pretty much bend over if you want to buy one. I had one for years, nice little radio, and when I put it on Ebay several years ago someone paid in the mid $300 range used for it. I forgot the exact price but $360 sticks in my mind.

Default SSB Hand Held

This question was asked back in 2012 and this is what I posted then.

Here are some units that have AM/SSB capabilities. They're all pretty
much the same radio just different name.

I personally have the Titan RPSY and love it.

Albrecht AE201S

Cherokee AH-100

Dragon SS201

Eagle Spitfire 454

Titan Roadpro RPSY-201

Here is a link to a site with info on these radios.

Even though I sold my Titan RPSY a few years ago I just saw one in perfect condition on Ebay and just bought it for $150. Seemed like a great price considering they have sold for more than double that.

Maybe I'm missing something, but didn't he ask about a handheld radio, not a mobile?

enter in google "ssb cb handheld" and you find a ton.
When you copy all product names go to ebay and buy the cheapest one.

But beware the are not waterproofe.

I'll probably be tired of the one I bought in a few months and might offer it to you then.

Hard to impossible to find these days. One dealer is begging customers to not ask when or if they will be available again...

...as they "didn't work out for them" whatever that means!

Default Handheld SSB

Besides the one mentioned, you may find some used Cherokee 100's and even Midland's 3ch. SSB HT (pass on this one unless you want it to sit on shelf of collection).
