Question old base radios

You folks on here have gave me a lot of info. about getting back into CB use.
I have another question please. I have an old cris base radio 23 chann
els. I may put it back on line - can I change tubes to get more out of it to push a pre amp.? t worked good when I put it up 30 + years ago.

Other than nostalgia, there's no point or advantage to doing so. You'd be far better off getting a modern 40-channel CB.
Uniden scanner internal GPS installations--making mobile scanning work the way it always should have.

Thank you - I understand that. Nostalgia - can some times cost us more money.than its worth. I will clean it off and put it back on the shelf.It does have a life time home.
