Chicago Fire

From watching the show Chicago fire tonight, it appears that they were all wearing Harris XG-75 radios (bright yellow). Dint know if that was just for the set, or if Chicago fire department is actually using Harris radios for their system. Interesting either way.

CFD uses XTS5000's and XTL mobiles in the real world. Also I have heard higher ups use APX7000s with VHF/UHF2 for mutual aid purposes.

Chiefs and Squad Officers have APX radios.

Single-role paramedics on ambulance companies and firefighter's on fire companies use XTS 5000's (Canary yellow radios), Fire company officers (Lieutenant's and Captain's) use APX 6000's, Battalion Chiefs, EMS Field Chief's. Exempt Rank Chief's use APX 7000's portables.
