For Sale:
One used Uniden BCD325P2 handheld scanner with BuTel's ARC-XT Basic software key for easy programming of the scanner. This is a P25 Phase 1 and Phase 2 scanner out of the box in both conventional and trunking modes. Also includes DMR digital (Capacity Plus, Connect Plus, Tier 3 trunking modes) installed as well.
Communication Protocols the BCD325P2 is capable of:
Analog, P25 Conventional (CAI), P25 Phase 1 Trunking, P25 Phase 2 Trunking, EDACS Trunking, EDACS ProVoice Digital*, LTR Trunking, DMR Capacity Plus, DMR Connect Plus, DMR Tier 3, NXDN Digital*, Motorola Trunking (SmartNet/Zone)
Comes with the following:
- USB programming/power cable
- standard stock antenna
- hard leather carry case with swivel belt clip
- ARC-XT Basic software programming key from BuTel Software
- DMR Digital mode already installed and activated in the scanner.
This scanner was used by me for the past 6 years out in the field, and has been well cared for. The keypad is a slight bit worn from use, and there is a hole on the left side of the case (pictured above) that was used as a port for DSD and Unitrunker programs. Also, the usb cover for the power port has been removed due to excessive wear and tear over the years (as pictured). I find it easier to have an open port to keep the radio powered via usb power this way. It has been removed by me and has no effect on scanning.
Unfortunately, I do not have the original box, nor user guides, nor the factory belt clip for the scanner. I have included the hard leather carry case (in like-new condition) and programming software to compensate for the missing original accessories.
All types of trunking protocols that this scanner can receive are listed above in the description. Also, see notes below regarding paid upgrades as indicated by the asterisk (*).
Special notes of interest:
* This scanner is capable of receiving EDACS ProVoice, and NXDN digital radio systems. It will require the buyer to purchase a separate key for each mode they choose to activate. The key(s) for each mode is NOT included with this sale. DMR digital IS included and already installed in this scanner without any further action needed. Should the buyer require ProVoice or NXDN, they must register the scanner with Uniden and follow the instructions on how to purchase and activate the key at their own expense.
- If you are using this scanner within a 1/4 mile radius of a cell tower, you might have an overload situation on the 700/800/900 MHz bands. There is nothing wrong with the scanner but is simply over-powered by the cell tower in the area.
- If the radio system you are monitoring is a simulcast P25 digital trunking type of system, you might experience LSM (Linear Simulcast Modulation) distortion. More information on this can be found through a search engine on the internet.
- Programming of the scanner is the responsibility of the buyer. I do not have the time to program it for you due to my busy work schedule.
Terms of Sale:
Sales limited to the United States only due to custom export regulations.
For payment, I accept PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Personal Check, Money Order, or Cash.
I will ship out the scanner via USPS Parcel Post and a tracking number provided within 24 hours or less.
All sales are final - no refunds or exchanges permitted, nor honored. I have excellent feedback as user: gmockoviak on eBay if you need references. I have also been a member here on RR for over 20 years as well.
