Working Kenwood R-2000 Receiver

It's an estate sale find from sometime back. I have done some SWL over the years but I don't consider myself an expert by any means. I can tell you the radio works with a couple caveats. The light behind the s-meter isn't working and the backup battery is expired. As far as I can tell, everything else works. As I have never opened it up, I don't know if it has had any mods or upgrades. It's not pristine but as you can see in the pictures, it's nice. Tuner knob is smoots & without scratchiness as are the volume, squelch and tone knobs. There are no burnt out sections in the display. The frequency alignment seems to me to be right on. The unit includes a whip antenna and a power cord. The price doesn't include shipping as prices and services will vary according to your preference and zip code.
