Hello, I am thinking of getting a Amateur Radio License. Is there any club/group in my area that provides classes or other info to better acquaint me with the required information and general application of Ham Radio? I am in the Southern California area ( Rialto) and looking to join the Ham community.

Years ago I was a long time Red Cross volunteer and remember the ARRL/RACES being involved and it always caught my interest. Thanks for your time.

Rialto? Check with Fontana Amateur Radio Association. I know they've hosted VEC testing sessions. They may have other information or classes. And they're close.
