Question What is your favorite contest?

What is your favorite contest?

CQ WW, ARRL DX, Field Day (yes, I know it's not really a contest), state QSO party...?

I have only participated in one contest as a guest operator during the CQ WW SSB contest and loved it!

What is your favorite?

So far all I have done is QSO parties. Did both the OK and MO parties. At the MO party I was able to operate for almost 6 hours straight as a guest of a neighboring club....made 238 contacts in those 6 hours and had a blast!

I can't wait for Field Day, all I keep hearing from club members and fellow hams is that if I enjoyed the QSO parties, I am going to love Field Day!

Field day is insane!! Since I've been a ham(four years so far) I've done field day with my club and it's by far the largest pile up I've ever heard. I have never tried to work anybody at home because we're there for the entire time. Come home a few hours to sleep then go back again. Anybody who hasn't done it yet you will have a lot of fun!

Default SOTA

Does Summits On The Air count as a contest? If so, it's my favorite thus far.
