You nailed it ! that is the one. I think once you go to SDR you never go
back to the a box radio for swl.

For sure. The visualisation aspect of SDR is a game changer. Being able to check 10 MHz of spectrum for activity is unbeatable.

It does look like a fantastic and very useful tool, but the "long time old school" radio guy in me still enjoys the discovery aspect of bandscanning.
