I was wondering if anybody might be able to suggest a good coax for a 100' run for 2M. I've looked at
LMR-400, but it's a little more than i want to spend right now, as this will be a temporary setup. What would the next step down be from the 400? Thanks for your time.

If LMR-400 is a little out of your price range.. then try for some RG-213 and if that's still a little too much of a price then you could always go with but i wouldn't recommend it RG-58.

RG-8X is not great for your length by any means, but better than RG-58 and comes at 23 cents a foot at Universal-Radio.
