More ROC radio ID info
Sounds like DPD dispatch is in some kind of backup mode right now - consoles are all different radio IDs and it sounds like they're dispatching from backup RF radios. IDs are as follows:
10143 DISP-1
10146 DISP-2
10148 DISP-3
10144 DISP-4
10147 DISP-5
10149 DISP-6
And right now they have all six dispatch channels patched together....wonder what is going on
Edit 10:55: City-wide patch is down now. They're using DTMF tones on the agency talk group for holdup alarms and cars calling for help.
The ROC is the Denver City/County communications Recovery Operations Center. The normal or primary communications center is 950 Josephine St. Official documents use the word Recovery because the main purpose is for CAD data backup recovery with an obvious additional use of remote radio dispatch, so some people call it the Remote Ops Center.
DPD switched over to ROC dispatch at about 6 am today. The IDs listed above by GreenThumb are the same ones they used the last few times at the ROC for those same dispatch channels.
The CityWide Clearances channel (Clear-1) where they check for warrants, call for tow trucks, and other admin related stuff uses the ROC dispatch console ID of 10145 and it's been pretty active on Clear-1 all day today since 6 am.
For the CityWide Simulcast channel that airs armed robberies and officer needs help calls, these are the IDs that showed up there today (using the DTMF tones available on the portables as was also mentioned by GreenThumb, above).

The ROC Backup PD-5 radio was also tested on Air-1, DUI, SWAT-A, D5, and Denver Public Schools Security talk groups today.
I got the IDs (i.e. BU PD-1 P) when they tested them today and the dispatcher told them the radio ID that went with the LID (i.e. 10025) that was transmitting at the time.
All of these radios were also tested back on Feb 22, 2013.
On the DFD side, they did test out the Vocalarm Patch using the ROC's radio consoles between 9:30 am and 11 am but haven't switched any dispatch responsibilities to the ROC today. Maybe tomorrow?
Happy listening!
