Is anyone hearing a carrier on 157.45 with a CTCSS of 103.5? It's been on for at least two hours. I thought that frequency was going to be one of the new Evergreen, Clear Creek County frequencies to be used as a MAC.

I see that WPDS900 Evergreen FPD is a licensed user with emissions of 20K0F3E.

FCC codes say this about 157.45:

This frequency will be assigned only for one-way paging communications to mobile receivers. Transmissions for the purpose of activating or controlling remote objects on this frequency are not authorized.

I cannot hear it from Colorado Springs today. I will keep it in the scanner.

Nothing received up North near Greeley at 11 AM. Maybe it has gone off the air for a while.

Dead carrier with PL of 103.5 loud and clear in S.E. Greeley.

Squaw Mountain is one of their UHF sites so betting this transmitter is up there.

If they're up on Mines, you'll be able to hear them in Denver, roughly east of Sheridan Blvd. due to shadowing by the foothills.

Signal is loud and clear this morning in Gilcrest with a 103.5 carrier.

License would suggest that they added a site.
The Bear Mountain and Began Peak sites date back to Low Band (45.520)
Then they added UHF (453.950/458.950)

I would guess that these new Freqs and the addition of the Squaw Mountain as a site are to enhance coverage.
