No Metro Fire licensing a new site. Imagine this is to fill in for lost coverage.
Since they used to get dispatch from both Broomfield & Adcom I guess it could be either system unless someone has some details.

A letter in ULS from the 700 MHz Planning committee dated 1/28/14 states at the bottom:

"Special Note: This application will be integrated into the Front Range Communication Network (FRCC) in Colorado."

This site is basically in my backyard; as of this morning I'm getting nothing but I will keep checking. I believe the Broomfield City Council formally voted to stay on DTRS, so I'm a bit confused as to why they are putting this tower on FRCC; maybe it's designed to cover parts of Adams County and not Broomfield.

Unlikely you are going to hear anything on those frequencies as their license was issued only 5 days ago.

Keep an eye on the Omni hotel for new sticks and microwave dishes and the direction they are aimed.

FWIW N. Metro has a number of active UHF licenses as well.

It is odd that they would state that this site would be linked to FRCC however since the switch of Mountain View fire to FRCC it is quite obvious coverage in portions of Boulder County is unacceptable so if true this site will be FRCC it would benefit neighboring agencies as well.

Okay, I finally submitted the site to RR for an official DB update. So far very few radios have been affiliating with this site. Do all FRCC radios have to be physically re-programmed for this new site, or is it possible it was previously programmed when they originally deployed FRCC? Are we seeing few affiliations because few radios have this site in their dynamic roaming list?

Update: So far I've logged affiliations from 2 Adams Co School Bus channels, Mountain View Fire and Weld County Fire Dispatch (among others). Given the Weld Co affiliations, this suggests that FRCC radios were originally programmed with this site in their list of permissible sites to dynamically roam. If all FRCC radios currently have this site in their "roaming list", then presumably the small number of affiliations seen thus far suggests the site itself has a relatively small coverage area. Is it possible the site isn't yet running at full power?
