Good afternoon. I have a Pro-106. I've been away from the hobby for a while. I came across a busy Police frequency (792.015625) with multiple agencies transmitting. I dug hard on RR to find out any information or what site this is tied to. I looked at every P25 frequency in CO. I looked up FCC licenses, etc. etc. I can't find any information about this frequency or site. Any ideas or answers?

I'll be walking into an DR appointment in 10 minutes. If you have a question I wont be able to respond for a couple hours.

You are probably receiving an image from the 853 MHz band.

For example at my location:
792.184375 is an image of the real frequency at 853.3125.
792.234375 is an image of the real frequency at 853.2625.

Notice in the above that as the frequency on the left increases the frequency on the right decreases.

If I did the math correctly the real frequency for 792.015625 should be 853.48125 (probably 853.4875).

Using the GRE Scanner Spurious Calculator gives 852.58438 MHz (likely 852.5875).

I concur that it should be the frequency noted above if the tool is calculating correctly.
