Anyone else monitoring the accident involving Truck-2 at 51st & Troy sounds like they launched the entire truck into a ditch, and at least three FF's are being transported now. Chief of the Dept enroute Denver Health and another dist chief requested to the scene to assist with investigation.

Follow up

Any follow up on the condition of fire fighters? Any additional information on what happened to cause the accident? How much damage to the Truck?

4 firefighters hurt when truck goes out of control

Three Denver firefighters suffered serious injuries Monday night when the truck they were riding in while responding to a fire landed violently after it hit a dip in the road and became airborne.

The firefighters were hospitalized, but their injuries are not life threatening, according to Lt. Philip Champagne, fire department spokes-man.

The engineer of the tower truck suffered minor injuries, but he didn't require hospitalization.

Champagne said the truck, which operates a large bucket and ladder, sustained substantial damage and was inoperable.
