HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. -- A Highlands Ranch man faces several charges after a standoff with police Saturday evening at his home.
Mark Brown, 50, faces charges of domestic violence, harassment, obstructing police operations and menacing.
Police were called to the Brown's home, located at 10412 Hyacinth Street, just after 7 p.m. Saturday, after a call was made to 9-11.
The Brown family was able to escape the house.
A SWAT team was called to negotiate with Brown after he locked himself in the house and refused to leave. Nearby residences were evacuated as a precaution.
