Arrow Central Fire in Jefferson County

Surprise, it's another update post!

This one applies to Fairmount, Golden, Golden Gate, and Pleasant View in Jefferson County. These agencies have consolidated their daily radio operations into a single group called "Central Fire" or "CNF" on April 20, 2018 at about 10:00. This change would be why you may have noticed significantly less activity when monitoring any of the listed agencies, exception for if you were monitoring Fairmount.

Most of the talkgroups that belonged to the individual agencies have been renamed and are assigned as needed by Jeffcom. Their assignments closely mirror Arvada and West Metro. Routine calls operate on CNF Tac 2 and other larger incidents are given their own talkgroup.

It looks like Fairmount and Golden have each opted to keep a talkgroup for use outside of daily operations.

The talkgroup changes can be seen in the RadioReference Database. Note that scanners with the included RadioReference Database may not see the changes until the next update.

Just so everyone knows, Fire NW is still used to dispatch Genesee Fire and Highland Rescue.
