Moving out permanently to the Grand Junction/Clifton area in the next couple weeks.

Any info on what scanner frequencies are good to listen to?

Sorry I’m unfamiliar really with the area. Getting out of Connecticut. The state is a mess.

For the most part you'll need a 800 Mhz P25 trunk capable scanner. If you have that you'll be in good shape for most everything.

There are other things on other bands, but most any scanner can handle those easily.

You'll need an APCO 25 digital scanner. All Mesa County agencies on the Colorado DTRS system. There's easy software you can get to program your scanner such as freeware.

BTW, why GJ?
