Musgrave delivers federal grant for law enforcement
Larimer County law enforcement officials accepted a $246,807 federal grant Wednesday that will be used to buy electronic communication equipment.
A large check representing the grant was presented to District Attorney Larry Abrahamson and Sheriff Jim Alderden by U.S. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, R-Colo., who said she lobbied to get the De-partment of Justice funds earmarked for the county.
The funds came from the Science, State, Justice, and Commerce Appropriations Act for 2006. For more on this story see Thursdays Coloradoan.
