For you guys that run pro96 or whatever the program is called that decodes the control channel data I have a question.

I have been told that Douglas County radios are denied off of smoky hill site. This evening I was receiving dcso taskgroup talkgroups off of the smoky hill site. So it made me wonder. When they deny certain depts off of certain tower sites do they do the denying by denying certain talkgroups or do they do it by denying blocks of radio ids that say pertain to douglas county radios? I am guessing that they deny the talkgroups. Would that be correct? And if that assumption is correct. Are you guys showing DCSO Main, B, C and D as being denied or just DCSO main or what?

Thanks,

Dave

From my experience Dave that tend to reject the talkgroup and not the radio(s) id.

So far 0011, 0012, 0013, 0029, 0030 and 1033 denied.

Makes a lot of sense when everyone else and his brother is allowed including Weld and Larimer Counties off Smoky, CSP is the biggest denial off Chevron by far.

You are right Jim-

If, for example, A Douglas County unit is on a call with Arapahoe County on TG 3001, MAC, Network First, Etc, the Douglas County radio ID would show up on Smokey Hill.

Also, for everyone in the South Metro area, Douglas County and Parker/Lonetree are appearing on site 322. Interesting however, not appearing on the 700's on Chevron.

Can't listen to Douglas County on Smokey Hill, but Phil can listen in Greeley??

Denials are obviously an ever ongoing work in progress

It would be nice if some of the towers up here were on the same program. DCSO is regularly heard on Buckhorn and also a lot of the time on Horsetooth.
