Re name combat city?!?!

COMMERCE CITY - An attorney says he is pushing forward to try and change the name of a local city.


Attorney Jim Benson says he has 800 signatures so far to get the Commerce City name change proposal on the city's ballot in April.

If enough voters agree, a committee would offer three new names for voters to choose from in November. There has been no announcement regarding which new names are being considered.

Mayor Sean Ford says he is against a name change.

Anyone have any good names?:lol:

Gee they annex everything they could near DIA and low and behold the rich homeowners that now occupy that area give the city they live in the finger cause the name of the city degrades their property values.

Wow now that I think about it my city is doing something similar on the West end. I wonder if the rich folks will force a city name change suit here too.

Greedy lawyers + dumb rich white people. This could be the start of something bad.
