I guess to old saying goes.

Stick with something you know is going to work.

Question is why purchase a whole new system when one is already in place.

All that is needed is the radios.

NC State Viper System would serve them well. That way they could communicate with their neighbors who are using the state radio system.

Plus they could communicate with South Carolina and Horry County too.

Just my thoughts

As stated before. VIPER wasn't meant to carry counties as their main radio system. It was meant as a bridge to bring everyone together during an emergency. So please stop posting that everyone needs to go to VIPER.
