Hey guys Hope someone can PM me with this answer , sorry if its a bit off topic

Im getting three new PC's from santa

HP Home, Laptop and notebook package deal anyway.....................

Can someone tell me how I can save my favorites folder or at least a links list I have like 1000
links in my "scanner favorites" and Im hoping not to loose them all .

It depends on what browser you use to surf the Internet, and what version of that browser. They all have different ways of importing/exporting.

In ie goto file..import and export...choose export to a file.....choose faves,cookies,feeds...export to a flash drive..

import process is the reverse

You could also network all the old and new computers, then transfer the chosen folders/files over your network.

Favorites sounds like you use IE. In XP the folder is located under C:\Documents and Settings\"your username"\Favorites Replace "your username with yours of course.

Now just copy the contents and paste them to the same directory (your profile name) on the other computers.

C:\Users\<Current User>\Roaming\Favorites\

Simple Socket File Transfer 1.0 - WhitSoft Development (For many files just compress them and transfer that file. This does not requite netbios to be on or any of that Windows junk.
