 I HAVE A 1 YEAR OLD CybertronPC Patriot GM1293D Desktop computer and would like to speed it up if it's not going to cost to much, I am in Canada and would like to buy any upgrades in Canada.

I would like to up grade the memory, I have 8 gigs in the computer now. What kind of memory do I need to buy.

Also would like to up grade the processor to a faster one. What kind of processor can I install.

This is the system info.

Memory and processor upgrades will be dictated by the motherboard. If it can't handle a quad core, you can't put it in. Find your motherboard model number (usually printed by the power connector) and go from there. You can look up the motherboard and find out specs for processor and memory.

As for the where to buy.. Can't help there.

Here's the fastest processor and ram you can upgrade to. I would highly suggest getting an SSD to load at least your system on as well as you will notice much faster load times than with that hard drive you are currently using.

CPU:

RAM:
https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-2x8GB-17000-Desktop/dp/B00D7EL0PK

SSD:

Not a problem. I can't stress enough how much faster your system will load/run once you install your OS (Windows) at the very least on a SSD to boot from.

Also, make sure you upgrade your bios to the latest version BEFORE installing your new CPU.

BIOS driver should be here:
