Mashantucket (Foxwoods) Updates

Mashantucket will be transitioning from the old LTR / LTR Passport system to new NXDN system in the near future. The system is in the testing phase and equipment is being installed.

The Fire Department will still operate dispatch on 33.84 and also will have our mobile cross band repeater in our trucks still.

We had a new engine delivered to replace the 2006 Ferrara and two new chief's trucks.

hi just wanted to throw it on here a update i was recently there last week noticed that the security was using some type of digital.i heard the audio the maintenance guys were still on analog i noticed that.

All tribal emergency services and Foxwoods security are on the NexEdge system. All other services are still on the old LTR system at this time.

Do you have a layout of the trunk system and talk groups For the new system?

Someone who is an employee of a facility may not always be able to share details of the system.

I had put together something on ScanNew England...Foxwoods Casino/Mashentucket Pequot Tribal Nation
There are quite a few additional talk groups for each service but this is a start for those who wish to monitor.

When setting up this new system, what do you enter for "System Type" ?

OK, I was using ARC536 and there is no NEXDN provided in their "system type" window list. I noticed SENTINEL has it provided, should have used it originally, thanks.

You should check for updates, I thought ARC had the NXDN capabilities now.

Yup again, I just updated and it's there now.
