Southington police now digital

Southington police switched to digital this afternoon. Their dispatch of 155.250 has a NAC of 131 h

Do we know if the other channels are also now P25?

I believe all the PD channels made the switch to P25. I was monitoring them when they made the switch but only long enough to catch the dispatch channel. They were testing all the PD channels before they switched over.

courtneycadxp, The WS1040 is a digital scanner so it will pick them up. I don't have that scanner so I can't tell you how to manually change it.

I can confirm that the Detective channel on 151.175 is P25 with NAC 131

This is a Phase 1 system, as this system is conventional and Phase 2 is only available on trunked systems.

As of 4/22 the main dispatch was Digital but Analog was still operational
I have no info on the Detective or Dispatch2 channels at this time
This may be a way for interoperation with Plainville who is digital

Interoperbility ... what?! No one does that. That would make sense. If only every other department jumped on board with that concept, but it’s about ego and stubbornness
