Has anyone heard any comms related to the Travelers Golf tournament in Cromwell this year? When the tournament was in Eastern LI at Shinnecock, NY last week I found them using a DMR trunked system and was able to hear it perfectly, but I haven't heard anything on the same system since they moved to Cromwell on Monday. The freqs were:
451.1625
451.6375
451.6625
452.1125
452.1625
452.6375
452.9125
All Color Code 5
I logged about 100 talkgroups
Either I am too far away (doubtful) , or they are not using this system at the Cromwell location. Can someone up that way confirm one way or the other?

I think they use the Cromwell LTR system or the Marcus Passport system. I haven't tried to listen this year.

OH! That's interesting. They have done it for years if I remember correctly.

Yes they used to use the Cromwell LTR system up until about 2 or 3 years ago. Then they switched to a UHF DMR system. I haven't heard anything on those freqs as well as their own DMR system that they used just last week in Shinnecock, NY. that I talked about in the first post of the thread. The other DMR system used these freqs:
451.2125
451.7375
451.8875
452.1125
452.1875
452.2625
452.6875
452.7125

I can confirm they are using these frequency. I have it program as a DMR mototrbo system and picking up talk groups.

Thanks for the info. I guess they are not using the same power they did last year. I have the same yagi and same radio that I used last year when I heard them loud and clear. Nothing on those freqs for me this year. Appreciate the confirmation.

Your welcome.

For the past week I have also been looking for them, I tried Cromwell LTR system no joy, recently I have been receiving digital transmissions on other frequency that are assigned to other agencies so I compared to what you posted in #5 and what I herd confirm that indeed it was the TPC. I had no idea they had there own system it appears that more and more are switching to DMR.

So just to clarify, are you hearing them on the first system that I heard them using in Shinnecock last week or are you hearing them on the system they used at Cromwell last year?

I used the frequency that you posted in post #5 which are 451.2125 ,451.7375 ,451.8875,452.1125 ,452.1875, 452.2625 ,452.6875 and 452.7125. I didn't hear them at all on the Cromwell LTR system.
