I am curious how a DB Admin verifies that the information being submitted is accurate. Would one of the DB Admin's be so kind as to explain the process they use?

Probably if no one else submitts that its bad info after its in the database.
Other wise they can check licenses from the F.C.C. when possible.

Other than FCC License checks there is really no way to verify submitted data. As said above I seriously doubt if members submit bad data on purpose. Now I have seen data submitted by others that I question due to the fact they may be hearing a skip or bleedover frequency. When I find submit data its either from official documentation or I have listened and researched for a few days and compared it with the FCC databases for accuracy. If you listen for a few days its ensures the PL, DPL or NAC tone you are hearing is the correct one.
