THe database used to have great listing of the Hawaii airport and HCF (ATC) frequencies along with a map showing the rough coverage of "Enroute VFR Radar Advisory Frequencies"

This all seems to be missing now, or I do not know where to look?

A listing of all island airport frequencies and the newly named HCF freqs. I snagged a sceen shot of the islands with ATC coverage areas that was on that page.

I could go to it easily from the Hawaii county (island) page up near the top as I recall. Even a search for "Kona Tower" comes up blank now, as if all references were removed.

Well, it sounds like it would have been in the wiki, but it doesn't appear anything had been removed.

I'm not familiar with the HCF reference. Were these HF frequencies or VHF?

Hawaii Center was IIRC renamed HCF appraoach a while back. Freqs are all VHF and UHF AM.

I'd attach a shot of the map that I snagged back when from that page if I could figure out how.

This was the freq list as of back in 2014 when the list was up.

well, it looks as though most of those are still listed. you may need to go to each individual county to find them , but they are there. i'll go back and add anything that is missing.

There were several errors back then, submitted a correction for at least one of them, no idea if it ever got incorporated. That and another mistake is why I tried to find the list again.

Meantime, have been accessing the FAA stuff and going it alone, but this IS RadiorRefence after all, and should have the the correct stuff easy to get to.

I liked the one page source for everything. These islands are so close together, no good reason to scatter the crap all over. I hear Oahu and most all incoming flights from the mainland to there down on the Big Island. The copied old list shows how simple it is, no reason to scatter it over four or five islands.

One list lets you sort the crap out, this is not a huge area that you should need to go hunting needles. Everyone on Oahu hears what Hawaii island hears, etc. The single database list needs to be returned and updated.

Checked the individual islands for the freqs, and yes they are there for the most part, but without some needed detail that used to be included. For instance, what sector each ATC was covering. That was where the map was very useful, have a printout over the desk to refer to when picking up a transmission.

Missing examples are Big Island airport info of any sort, Kona and Hilo. Kona approach/departure on 126.0 MHz does not even come up on a search, how did that happen? A rather important frequency.

Kaneohe MCAS info has also been deloted. May be more, but a pain to sift through it to find what was in one place before.

Hmm, did you have a different username? I don't see any submissions by you.

And looking through our update logs, I don't see anything that's been deleted either so I'm not sure what happened or where you were looking before. If you have hard copy of that map, scan it and you can add it to the wiki for future reference.

Also , if you would like something added that isn't already in the DB, please make a submission and it will be updated. We rely on users to let us know of changes and additions. Unfortunately, Hawaii doesn't have a lot of active members so sometimes information doesn't always get updated timely.

Used to use my call sign KD6HYW. One I Know I sent in was a correction for Honollulu tower UHF ATIS.

I have the map attached to a Word document. will look and see where this Wiki is and give it a shot.

Only stuff I have for the missing sites like Kaneohe MCAS and the Hawaii island airports may or may not be all up to date, that is what I rely on RR as a check, especially if a freq seems very quiet.

Here's the direct link to the Honolulu International Airport Wiki page. You can edit that page, upload the file, and add a link to the file on this page. If you need help uploading it, just ask in the Wiki forum or send a PM to W9BU, the Wiki Admin.
This is a state-wide issue, not Honolulu-centric. Many get confused that Honolulu is all there is. Maybe that is why the other islands had the data deleted?

Could not see how to upload a Word file, so I sent a PM to W(BU. File has corrected and missing frequencies along with the old map. Old list also had some helpful notes on the freqs.

Originally downloaded and made a file of it all for printing in early 2014.

Again to clarify when I looked through the logs, nothing was deleted database wise. I think you may have been looking at wiki info in the past because that's the only place some sort of map is stored.

I'm going to try and look at Hawaii (state) airport stuff this week to add what's missing. Just give me a day or so

Nah, it was what you first saw after clicking on the state from the database home page.

Thanks, see if you find this stuff anywhere, I never saw any freq info on the Wiki

Ok.

I accidentally gave you the wrong link in the earlier post, which is to the Trunked Radio System used at PHNL..

The correct, airport-page link for Honolulu should have been Honolulu International Airport (HNL) Honolulu County (HI), which you have already indicated is not correct because your information is at the state-level.

Here is the link to the state page for Hawaii (US). It is not an aviation-only page, like the airport page above, though.

Hope this helps,

Your PM was not clear about what you were trying to do, so I came here.

You have to be logged into the Wiki in order to upload files. Note that Wiki user names are sensitive to capitalization. There is no Wiki user named "DeDawg", but there is one named "Dedawg".

However, if these are verified frequencies, I think you should submit them to the Database so they can be entered there.

It was requested that if I had a copy of the old Hawaii ATC area of responsibility map that used to be here, send it along. Other than in the Word file I have it all in, do not see a way with this forum software to attach a digital image.

It is a great map for reference while listening as you can see where controllers pass off flights and change frequencies.

On the way along with the freq list, complete as it was in 2014 with corrections. Word 97 format.

Some MilAir stuff not on the list that I came across and monitor for the large warning areas offshore south of Oahu:

Hula Dancer primary 127.0 266.4
Hula Dancer secondary 132.4 336.8

Outrider 322.0 Controls the northern warning areas off PMRF on Kauai
