Hello,

Color code 1 is the most common.

However you still need to know the time slot and the talk group number.

I've seen systems set up as simple as:
Ex- 463.625 CC: 1 TS: 1 TG: 1

However it could be CC:14 TS:2 TG: 1356005

So you really need to run DSD+ on the frequency you want to monitor. Sure you can guess color codes and the time slot, but the TG could be near impossible to guess.

DSD+ will tell you all of the above so you know how to program your XPR 6550.

XPR 6550 is a good radio. I mostly use mine to monitor Capacity Plus systems.

Good luck.
