query about compatibility between Yaesu Fusion & Motorola Astro ...?

Happy New Year to everybody !

I have a query- does anybody know if Motorola Astro radios ( Saber, Spectra, XTS) , are compatible with Yaesu System Fusion repeater ?
According the specifications from Yaesu, it is AMBE+2 / C4FM .

Only on Analog I believe. That being said folks are tinkering with software interfaces for various digital voice modes using raspberry pi these days.

Yup, Fusion is not compatible with any of the other digital modes, P25 in the case of Astro.

so even the latest firmware for Astro or XTS do not support AMBE ?
I read something like this today, in one of the topics, and for this reason I was sure that all Astro and XTS can do AMBE...

Short answer is no, it is not.

P25 phase 1 uses C4FM also but the codec and everything else about the data stream is different. P25 phase 1 is IMBE. P25 phase 2 is AMBE+2.

Has nothing to do with AMBE. Fusion is C4FM but uses 4 different modulation tones than P25.

now is clear, that Yaesu Fusion will not support P25 .
I was confused today, reading a lot of articles. I did not pay careful attention to time slot mapping of both P25 C4FM and Yeasu Fusion C4FM , as you say they are different .
