Default TYT 390 Boot Screen Questions

The Digital Voice for Amateur Radio forum can be used for questions on amateur radio specific topics for your Tytera. My question pertains to the TYT displaying ham call signs.
I am using a TYT 390, with TY Toolsz for the firmware. Using CPS 1.36, read the radio, in General settings, my intro screen is set for Text rather than Picture. line 1 or 2 has my call sign. When I set the radio to ON, Radio displays firmware no etc, the says 0 no id ., If I turn off , IN 380 TOOLZ,NO 14 COPL OVERRIDE TO DISABLED, RADIO TURN ON, IT DISPLAYS MY CALL SIGN. COURSE WITH THIS OFF, I LOSE BUTTONS 4,5,8,9, AND #. I MAY BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG, OR MAYBE THERE IS A SETTING I AM MISSING. OR IS THIS SOMETHING THAT I HAVE TO LIVE WITH TO GET THE EXTRA FEATURES.
TENTEC PARAGON, TYT-390, DM-5R+, ANYTONE 5888,VX10, VX7, VX3,TERMN-8R, F8-HP, GT3, UV-5, UV-3R, WOUXUN UV-8D,Juentai UV8DR, 396XT, 780 XLT, Austin Spectra and Condor Antennas
