cs 800 connect systems using a head set

HI I have heard a rumor that the CS800 CS 801 will work with a Kenwood mobile microphone. Any one know what model Kenwood ? I have a need to use these radio with a boom mic / head set and foot switch for PTT Idea was to buy a Pryme HLP-SNL Series head set If anyone has a better idea let me know please.

All products have to be commercially available as it is going into a EOC

I have a CS800D, which should be the same as the CS800 and CS801 in this respect. Any typical Kenwood 8-pin RJ45 mobile radio mic will work. I've personally had success with a KMC-30 and KMC-27.

So how that impacts a Pryme I can't say but seems that any adapter that works with a Kenwood radio will work with these models.

Look at Heil Sound for Kenwood adapters that will allow for the use of a headset and footswitch.
