Trouble loading .csv contact list into md-uv380

trying to import the contacts into the md-uv380 with the Write Contacts tab in the cps software version 1.07. it imports the file ok but when i push the write button it gives me a "firmware error". same error when i try to read contacts from the radio. Any thoughts???

I have updated the radio with the latest firmware from tyt also.
Firmware version: D017.005

I am brand new to DMR and TYT (I just purchased the MD-UV390) but I think the MD 380 D17.05 firmware sets aside memory for the recording function while the V17.05 sets aside memory to load contact lookup info.

FIRMWARE

I updated uv380 to other firmware. and contacts loaded just fine. thanks for the input. I only put in about 60,000 contacts. but works great.

HVDN has dug through the MD-UV380 and has available the new firmware et al.

FWIW I haven't tried to update my MD-UV380. If it ain't broke, I don't fix it. (grin) And I have my notes here.
