Does anyone know if the mobile frequencies being used are dedicated to certain area's. Example, 410.8625 is used by the Caledon units.
I thank you in advance.

No, they do not assign them to a geographic area.

However, if there is already activity on one talkgroup in an area using VR01, then the other units will switch to VR02 or VR03.

In Barrie, VR01 is in use by the Barrie units so the Highway Safety Division officers use VR02.

In all areas of the province, you generally will find 410.8625Mhz used.
