Anyone use this feature here in the southern Ontario area? It would be cool if we could get it to do OPP Repeater freq? Too bad we can't program our own into it...

I just bought a bct15 & it has Ontario & all the provinces in the list. I just don't know what frequencies it's scanning. I've had it on 2 weeks & have heard nothing so far. I'm right by an OPP travelled hiway. Maybe it's just been quiet.

I believe the BCT8's option worked with low band repeaters so you'd be SOL with hoping it would work with OPP VRs.

Can this radio recive moh on fleetnet? If so how do you program it?
The BCT-8 DOES recieve MOH on Fleetnet, you program the freq's, and offsets, and away you go...

Hello. I have a BCT8 and yes it will receive MOH and any other analog talkgroups on the Fleetnet system if programmed right. However and if you look a previous posts it does not work properly anywhere in the Zone 1 area. There have been numerous post about that it being garbled or just not trunking at all. Mine is one of them, however if you are programming towers in Zone 2 and possibly 3 (never been in a zone 3 area) it will work with no problems what so ever. Hope this helps.
