Can't get highlands East Fire Department to work

Hi I have been trying to get my local fire department working highlands east. They have went to motorola and the Frequency is 154.7550MHZ and it says SCID is 37998 is the SCID the same as a group ID or do you not need it . Also it says FM. I was not sure on how to prgram that into my digital scanner also would I use VHF or UHF any help would be appreciated

From what I'm seeing, it's conventional FM and 154.755 is the VHF frequency. The SCID number is used for database purposes here at RadioReference.com and not something you need to concern yourself with when programming the radio.
