The NPS Blue Ridge Parkway system has switched over from analog mode to the new digital repeater system. During the last couple of months the parkway dispatch has been announcing to all units that a specific repeater in North Carolina or Southern Virginia will be off the air until further notice. One by one they are brought back up on the air and "800" dispatch has announced "all units... this specific repeater is now digital". The switch over to digital was the second week in December. The 167.1750 frequency is now completely quiet. Not even digital noise if they stayed on the frequency and went to P25 mode. If anyone knows their new system setup, or frequency we sure would like to update the RR database for North Carolina and Virginia.
